Kings 2017
“My health during this adventure was real bad. It was 2016, in the peak of June within the summer season. My lungs were real bad, and I couldn’t stop coughing for about 2 weeks. My girlfriend had the bright idea of us camping and hiking with family and friends. I was stupid enough to accept her plan. I had the tall task of finding a perfect place for her and her novice beginnings in camping. Luckily a coworker of mine recommend this place, which was located not too far from us. We arrived at such beauty. As we prepared setting up our site, my mind was delirious. I couldn’t stop coughing. I was easily weak and dehydrated. The hike proved to be so. Throughout the whole hike the next day, I didn’t realize my ISO was raised so high, because I had forgotten I was trying to shoot stars the night before at our campsite. I ended up working with it, creating these really beautiful effects onto my photos. I love the near fake texture created on these photos. It was my first time in King’s Canyon, both of which are two new discoveries for me.”
